Position Summary

The After Market Sales Specialist will make a direct and measurable impact on our revenue stream by working with our channel partners to drive aftermarket sales. Position will help to create sales manuals, videos, and other tools to support the role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In addition to working with some of the top national and regional channel partners across multiple market segments, the After Market Sales Specialist will work alongside marketing, engineering and applications teams within our organization to continually improve the customers experience and maintain QC Conveyors’ reputation for excellence in service and support.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets by proactively leveraging QC Conveyor’s installed base, sales channels, and customer touch points to discover end user needs and promote spare part sales.
  • Collaborate with channel partners to drive replacement part revenue stream by being the point of contact for replacement part opportunities.
  • Travel to table, tech and trade shows as assigned to support channel and RSMs as well as to build relationships directly with customers.
  • Proactively identify, and quote spare parts based on estimated life of components using the configurator tool.
  • Create stocking programs for large volume customers.
  • Maximize customer solution opportunities by developing credibility and strong relationships with customers.
  • Drive after-market revenues, using all available resources including partner based and QC Conveyor based marketing campaigns.
  • Actively cold call, warm call, and e-mail customers directly to discover needs and promote QC Conveyor offerings, traveling to customers when warranted to drive sales.
  • Drive creation of tools to help end user identify and install wearable parts.
  • Lead the product development of Spare Part Kits.
  • Create training segments for distributor & resell partners in house team on identifying & filling replacement part opportunities.
  • Leverage customer interaction opportunities to also uncover and develop leads for Application Sales
  • Focus on excellence in all aspects of daily duties to support customer satisfaction.

Education Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years experience in sales and/or business development.
  • Technical sales background highly desired.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
